Jeff Vartiainen
Founder/Managing Director
Jeff has had over 40 years of experience in the IT and software development industries. From an initial background in electrical engineering and process control systems, Jeff has built a reputation as a highly-skilled full stack developer with a particular focus on bespoke applications for businesses of all sizes.
In addition, Jeff has built a strong base of experience in IT – having managed everything from small businesses to 200+-seat corporate networks, with everything in between.
He has a passion for consultancy and enjoys finding the right solution for each customer.
Chris Berriman
IT Manager
With over two decades immersed in the dynamic landscape of IT, security has remained the cornerstone and passion of my career journey. My collaborative nature, coupled with a relentless drive to surpass objectives, has consistently propelled me towards milestones.
Adaptability and innovation are ingrained in my approach, always aligned with the company and client's best interests. Continual professional development has been pivotal in navigating the rapid evolution of technology, ensuring my skill set remains at the forefront.
Balancing technical prowess with a service-centric mindset, I uphold the ethos of 'do it once, do it right,' understanding the criticality of operational continuity within organizations. Furthermore, adept at bridging the gap between technical and non-technical audiences, I prioritise education as a cornerstone of cybersecurity, safeguarding information, data, and privacy.
Callum Moffat
IT Technical Lead
With a decade entrenched in the IT industry, I hold a steadfast commitment to precision and consistently aim to exceed client expectations. My expertise spans a broad spectrum, encompassing advanced IT support, server and Active Directory administration, firewall and network security, Microsoft 365 management, AWS and Azure proficiency, and VoIP phone system management.
Collaborating with clients to discern optimal solutions tailored to their needs is a facet of my role that I relish. I take pleasure in navigating through challenges to deliver outcomes that surpass expectations, ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders involved.
Rob Trotter
Senior IT Technician
Bringing three decades of expertise to the table, Rob specializes in providing top-tier IT support and management services tailored to our esteemed VIP clientele.
His vast experience encompasses a wide array of areas, ranging from endpoint management to proficiency in AWS and Azure, ensuring that he is equipped to address any IT support needs that may arise.
Claire Mason
Accounts Administrator
Claire joined JV Systems in August 2023 to manage the business accounts system.
Her background is in Administration having worked in various businesses including government departments, retail sector, food industry and accounting firms.
In her spare time, she enjoys walking, and cycling, attending the gym, travelling, and socialising with friends and family.
